During this course, we will explore various methods of the physical practice of Yoga (Asana), Pranayama (breathing techniques), Mindfulness (Meditation), and History and Philosophies of Yoga that can relate to your health and wellness. Many of the practices and content from this course can be traced back to ancient practices that originated from India thousands of years ago. Yoga, as we know it in the Western World is an adaptation that was formed only around 100 years ago and continues to evolve and grow into many variations. It is my hope that you will improve your cardio capacity, strength, endurance, experience variations of wellness and understand the wide spectrum of Yoga, beyond the physical practice.
